Gotta Love Iowa

If you zoom in to see the street sign, this is on Hickman Road on the outskirts of Des Moines, Iowa -Very close to where I live.  We may not have a ton of rush hour traffic, but we have to slow down for these!  Not even sure if that is legal, but I have seen it several times around here.

The Dangers of Water Sports in Iowa

COWS!  How many places can you go Water Skiing and almost run into a cow in the lake.  I have seen several cows in different lakes around Iowa.  It has been so hot here, they have been just standing in the water all day.

Only in Iowa - The Pig Capital of the World

Yes, this is a real product on sale here. You can get just about everything flavored bacon here in Iowa; Gum, toothpicks, mints, straws, toothpaste...you name it, we got it!!!

Kum & Go - In Iowa

I live in Iowa and this one of our convenience store chains.  Every single one of my friends who have visited me from places outside the midwest have taken pics of this chain of stores, so I thought I would post one and save everybody the trouble of coming to Iowa to visit a Kum & Go (like somebody would come here just to do that.)
