Samar Release Has Been Postponded To Better Date

Samar starring Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina was earlier scheduled to release this weekend, on the last Friday of 2012. But Thiru recently announced that the film’s release is being pushed for a better date, due to practical problems.

It is rumoured that the film might release on Pongal. Incidentally, Vishal’s Madha Gaja Raja is also scheduled for the same day and he might just compete with himself.

Samar is Thiru’s second film with Vishal after Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai and Yuvan Shankar Raja has done the music for this one too. Vishal is doing a double role in this action flick and Jayaprakash, Sampath, Majoj Bajpai and JD Chakravarthy are featuring in supporting characters.

Vishal's Samar Movie Postponded to 28 December

Vishal’s Samar was supposed to be censored yesterday but the process has been postponed and it will happen instead on December 19th. 

Consequently the movie’s release has also been postponed from the initial December 21st to 28th. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s scores for this Thiru movie were released a few weeks back.

 Samar features Trisha and Sunaina opposite Vishal and is supposed to be a non-stop action entertainer judging from the trailer. Vishal also apparently plays dual roles tin this movie for the first time.

There will also be a Telugu dubbed version of Samar by the name ‘Ventadu Vetadu’ to appease Vishal and Trisha’s audiences in Andhra.
