Prabhas & Rana as Brothers in Rajnmouli's Movie

After Venkatesh triggering the multi starrer trend in Tollywood, now his nephew Rana will continue it. Director SS Rajamouli has oped in Rana to play the brother character of Prabhas in the new untitled film tobegin from February, 2013. 

Although Prabhas will be hero of movie, sources say that Rana will do the negative character and there will be high voltage action episodesbetween these two towering personalities.

Rajamouli team is on pre-production works for this Rs.70 crores budgeted periodic film to be made as Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Remaining cast and crew will be finalized soon as producers Devineni Prasad and K. Raghavendra Rao are leaving no stone unturned to make this a South industry hit. If Mahesh is the brother to Venkatesh then Rana becomes sibling to Prabhas.

Super star Rajinikanth’s ‘Rana‘ Shooting Silently Going

Super star Rajinikanth’s forthcoming historical action movie ‘Rana‘, the movie shooting  silently going. The movie Directed by K.S.Ravikumar would be a full anti hero personality too.

Rajini reveals about Rana,The story will be based on 17th century happenings concentrated on 2011 and the story slightly touches upon the current political happenings.According to sources “Rana” is all about how  the lead He fights against an entire kingdom, seeking vengeance for his sister’s death. We could expect the trio combination of Ravanan, Sakhuni and Duryodhana  where the Rajini as Rana possesses the trio’s strength, power and pun.

Deepika Padukone play the female lead role while Sonu Sood and Ganja Karappu play the pivotal roles in this film. Produced by Eros International and A.R.Rahman composed by the music.

Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan audio will be release soon and the movie expected to release this January.

Rajini's new film 'Rana' Have strong negative shades

Generally collection king Mohan Babu scored a major share of hits and created an impact through his negative roles onscreen. And he has a strong bonding with superstar Rajinikanth. Both of them are thick friends and as part of that, Rajini also agreed to do a fifteen minute powerful cameo in the film 'Peddarayudu' which became a major sensation. Now, it is heard that the film 'Rayalaseema Ramanna Choudary' was originally to be done by Rajini. The superstar was to do it but it is heard that he didn't because it has negative shades. So it went to Mohan Babu. Apparently, during the last few years of his career, Rajini ensured that his roles don't carry strong negative shades. But maybe for variety and for some character he seems to have made a small change. It is heard that Rajini's new film 'Rana' will see him in some strong negative shades. This is being directed by K S Ravikumar and sources say the role will also have a political angle in it though it is a period film. That way, Rajini seems to be taking back what he gave to Mohan Babu.
